According to PTI, it was clarified by the BCCI that Jasprit Bumrah will not play in the major ICC tournaments due to a back injury. Jasprit Bumrah has returned to the team in the T20 series against Australia. He has also played two T20 matches against Australia. However, he was ruled out of the T20I series against South Africa due to a back injury problem. In such a situation, Ravindra Jadeja has already been out of the World Cup. Jadeja last played for India in August 2022 against Hong Kong. The absence of these two players can create a big problem for India.
Big blow to Pakistan in the form of Shaheen Afridi
